APLU joined the Association of American Universities (AAU) in formally expressing their concern to the White House about its plans to reorganize federal STEM education programs.In a letter sent today, the associations urged the administration to make the consolidation process more transparent and to allow for a comment period in order to allow all interested parties to express their opinions and concerns on the best way to address the need to improve and strengthen STEM education initiatives.
